1 week of sharing inspiration in the streets of Milan
The past months hadn’t been easy for the creative industry regarding the global health situation coming up with lots of restrictions regarding traveling, events and fairs.
Design destination Italy and Milan, with its early lockdown in Europe, won’t let itself down especially not its design heart which still breaths constantly to send inspiration to the world outside.
Therefore the city center of the Italian design capital has came up a plan B for the famous Salone del Mobile, starting from 28th September onwards, a smaller version but with an intensely message:

While strolling through showrooms and art galleries, Milan found a new way of communicating to creative professionals. Privately and personally hold appointments extend networking, so can brand and product stories be told directly which is nowadays more important than ever.

Sculptures of spectacular black fibre glass form a series of artwork displaying sirens and mystic creatures placed on white Carrara marble blocks.
This wonderful outcome of combining art and paying tribute to the area’s specific resource, shows much love to highlight nature and artistically perspectives pointing out the female mythology and transform it into modern spirit.
Artist
The artist himself, Franco Mauro Franchi from Castiglioncello, inspires since 18 years the world of art with its special crafts and own world perspective. He is known not only nationally; he can mention exhibitions in Switzerland, France, Germany or Japan.
The exhibition, now placed in ‘Carrara Gallery’ at Piazza Alberica, takes you on a travel with the purpose of guiding you through modern nterpretation of mythology.
The exhibition opened to the public on Friday, 3rd October 2020 and can be visited until 18th.
