The Salone del Mobile has decided to go “super” this year and, together with Stefano Boeri in the role of an exceptional curator, has developed a new format. The special 2021 event, called “Supersalone“, is on the verge of happening and we can’t be more thrilled! Who’d have guessed it after such a trying year? It embodies hope, optimism, and excitement in one phrase, stating a significant shift toward a brighter future full of dynamism. A unique event for all living industry experts and design enthusiasts interested in interior design, architecture, decor, and culture.
The Supersalone, under Stefano Boeri’s sustainable guidance, will underline the significance of Milan and the Salone on the worldwide design, cultural, and innovation scene from September 5th to 10th at Rho, Fiera Milano.
Visitors will be able to freely travel through a big design library, a huge national and worldwide archive of innovation, thanks to a fluid and dynamic exhibition set-up that will valorize the new products and creations brought out by the firms over the previous 18 months.
The fairgrounds will be divided into themed areas and itineraries, including arenas for talks with leading figures from the contemporary cultural and creative scene, dedicated lounges for business company meetings, areas reserved for young students at design schools, and a display of Compasso d’Oro-awarded chairs curated by the ADI, and food courts conceived and set up in collaboration with the ADI.
We can’t wait to reach Milan to visit this super event; and you?
Paris Maison & Objet
With perfect timing, when the Supersalone comes to an end, the Maison & Objet will open in Paris. From the 9th to the 18th, France will host its own design week and, for the first 4 days, industry professionals can join the Maison & Objet fair.
This expo serves as a communication and information platform for the industry, allowing exhibiting firms to communicate to a professional audience. Visitors may get extensive and complete information about the industry’s newest developments and goods.
A wide schedule of fringe activities will complement the fair, providing inspiration and revealing talents. The Talks conference formats delve into the industry’s most pressing issues, including trends, technological developments, marketing, and merchandising. ReSPACE – the platform dedicated to the evolving usage and design of workplaces – is one of the events, but you should miss neither the Emerging Talents and Designer of the Year awards.
